Korea Central Volunteer Center conducts ‘Korea Dulle-gil’ flogging campaign

The Korea Center for Volunteer Service (Director Kwon Mi-young) announced that it will conduct a nationwide flogging campaign based on the Korea Dulle-gil with the Korea Tourism Organization (CEO Shin Sang-yong) for five months from July to November.

The Korea Dulle-gil is an ultra-long walking tour that connects Korea’s outer walking trails, including the east, west, south coast, and DMZ border, and the campaign will focus on the east, west, and south coast walking courses (Haeparang-gil, West Haerang-gil, and South Parang-gil) that people can easily access.

In particular, it will encourage each participant to participate in volunteer activities along the Korea Dulle-gil, walking along the Korea Dulle-gil, and record the amount of garbage collected and activity hours as data so that volunteer activities can be officially certified.

The campaign, which will be held from the 1st, will be conducted through a data logging web app serviced by Ita Seoul, and if you wish to participate, you can enter garbage information collected in Korea Dulle-gil by running the data logging web app after signing up for the 1365 volunteer portal. Through this, the amount of garbage collected, distance of activity, and time are naturally recorded for each individual.

The Korea Tourism Organization plans to encourage citizens’ flogging activities by drawing 100 participants every month among those who certified their activity photos on Instagram and providing eco-friendly travel kits.

Kwon Mi-young, head of the Korea Central Volunteer Center, said, “As social distancing is lifted, many people go on trips to enjoy leisure life such as camping,” adding, “I hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity for citizens to travel and enjoy volunteer activities.”

Korea Dulle-gil can be found on the Thrunubi Web or app. Bye! When accessing the Together platform, you can check the details of the campaign and the courses developed and operated by the volunteer center.
